Seeing D G A

By now, the idea’s beginning to feel familiar.

We're still learning to recognize Guitar Hands. We've simply moved to a new chord family. Two familiar faces remain, and one new one joins the conversation.

As before, we're not trying to memorize every finger and fret. A quick glance is enough to recognize the general look of each shape. With a little repetition, those first impressions begin to settle in, and our eyes become less distracted by details that don't really matter.

One chord family at a time, we're building a vocabulary of familiar landmarks. Before long, seeing D, G, and A together will feel just as natural as seeing G, C, and D. The songs may be in a different key, but they're still speaking a language we're beginning to understand.
